Do you want to learn how to use colour to enhance your home?Lack the confidence to do so, or not sure where to start?
In our practice, I do the colour selection - stone, carpet, paint and so on - because I love it! However, decisions about colour are often seen as difficult, with unsatisfactory results. I want to inspire people to make colour choices for their projects, improving their homes and giving them the confidence to experiment. Why not enjoy the selection process, design a master colour plan for your home, then delight in your creation?
My one day workshop will
discuss a colour wheel, the notation and words used to describe colour (hue, tone etc.) and how that applies to manufacturer's fan decks,
give you colour exercises that are fun and informative
demonstrate how to create a colour palette for your project, discussing elements of design and pitfalls to avoid.
Materials include a fan deck of 1300 colours, exercises in colour, and handouts of what we discuss during the day.
